Guy has always been interested in clothing and curious about the latest trends.
Working in retail nights and weekends while studying sociology he eventually Joined Macy's Buyers Program rising to a Corporate Buyer for men, and spent several years traveling the world coordinating collections for the various men’s divisions of Macys. Wanting more autonomy he switched careers and went into the Staffing industry whose clients included Net-a-Porter and Columbia University.
While working in this Industry he found himself advising his colleagues on what to wear professionally and started taking them shopping. It was at this point he had the epiphany that he could actually make a living helping men dress well,It was then he decided to become a men's personal stylist, with a focus on mature professional men who need guidance in finding their personal style.

Guy Tomlinson is a Wardrobe Stylist and Men's Fashion Blogger who offers a unique consultation package designed to enhance your personal clothing collection in a manner that best reflects your individual style and taste.
Guy begins by meeting with you at your home where he evaluates your current clothing stock while at the same time asking questions and engaging in conversation that is intended to give him insight into who you are and how you want to look.
He will summarize for you what he has learned about your personal tastes coupled with his assessment of how to maximize that identity through the clothes you wear. Guy works with you to first clearly articulate what you both will agree is your individual fashion mode.
Next, Guy will assess your personal wardrobe with a critical eye aimed at getting the most of what you already have. This evaluation will include suggestions as to how you might alter existing garments to achieve better effect and what is outdated or inappropriate for you that needs to be discarded entirely.
Then, Guy will sit down with you and design a list of clothing items that you should add to your wardrobe in order for you to have the fullest collection of garments that work in the most interchangeable manner.
